Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.

Everything in one place, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, tabtrade and the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
